This policy explains how Uriel’s Shoe Repair handles information provided through our repair services, website, and text messages.

Information we collect

We collect customer names, phone numbers, repair instructions, item details and photos, quoted prices, repair history, and messages exchanged with the shop. When you agree to text updates, we may keep a record of your permission. Staff may choose to send repair instruction text to Cloudflare’s AI service to help format it; staff review the result before saving it. Our hosting and messaging providers also process technical information, such as IP addresses, message timestamps, and delivery status, to operate and protect these services.

How we use information

We use this information to identify your items, perform repairs, provide receipts and updates, arrange pickup, answer questions, and maintain shop records. Staff sign-in uses a session cookie to protect access to the repair dashboard.

Text messaging and sharing

We do not sell or share SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Mobile numbers and messaging consent are not shared with affiliates for promotional use.

Service providers, including Cloudflare for hosting and storage and Twilio for text delivery, process information as needed to operate our services. We may also disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect against fraud or security threats.

Your choices

Text updates are optional. Providing a phone number does not by itself enroll you in text updates. Reply STOP to a shop text to unsubscribe. You can still use our repair services without receiving texts. See our SMS Terms for details.

Storage and requests

We retain information as needed for repairs, customer service, business records, and applicable obligations. Contact the shop to request access, corrections, or deletion. Some records may need to be retained for legal or business obligations. Access to the repair dashboard is restricted to authorized shop users.
